STAR club meetings are held weekly during which time debate format and theory, logic, Internet research, and public speaking skills are taught and practiced. Related homework is assigned and opportunities are provided to apply learned communication skills through a variety of means during the course of the season. Eligible students (ages 12-18) may compete in NCFCA sanctioned tournaments.
